The Church
In the beginning...
Lighthouse Baptist Church was started in 1977, being sent out of Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, by our founding Pastor Willie Ward and his wife, sister Mary. After the death of Pastor Ward, the church moved to Port St Lucie. Pastor Clark Walden was ordained and became pastor in 2003.
The church now...
Pastor and Mary Jo were both saved on a Monday night in April of 1969 at their home on 327 Birch Street, Trussville Alabama. As a result of a visit from Pastor Horsley, from Riverview Baptist Church in Trussville, they joined the Church and were baptized one week later.
Pastor Walden surrendered to preach the Gospel in 1991. For several years he did outreach ministering in nursing homes and preached at CITA Rescue Mission in Melbourne, Florida every Monday night for 5 years. He also was able to preach at the truck stop in Vero Beach for 5 years.
This coming September Pastor Walden will celebrate 18 years as pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church

Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry gives out food on the 2nd Saturday and 4th Friday of each month. We are open from 9:30am until 12:00pm. The food pantry is drive through only.
